Collections

The collections of the Kemi-Tornio UAS library consist of the field specific material of four library units, as well as wide electronic resource collection. In the library collections there are printed material, like books, journals and standards, altogether of about 100 000 items. The printed material consists of both national and international literature. You will also find theses made by the students of the Kemi-tornio UAS, HUMAK and Vocational College.

There is also audiovisual material in the collections, like CD ROMs and DVDs. Most of them can be loaned as home loans.

The electronic materials consist of e-journals and books, which can be found in the field specific and interdiciplinary databases. There are about 6300 e-journals and 37 000 e-books in the electronic collections of the library.

You can search printed material via Juolukka database. Some of the electronic material can also be found in Juolukka. All the electronic materials of the library can be searched via the Nelli portal of the Kemi-Tornio UAS library. The students and staff of the Kemi-Tornio UAS have a possibility to use some of the databases remotely e.g. from their home computers.
