Overall objective
|
|
The overall objective of the project is to create new common network-based services to better meet the future needs of industry and attract skills to stay in or move to the region. The joint cross-border test and skills network creates new services that support the development of new business in existing companies, encourages the creation of both new business and investment in the region, mainly in high technology and product ownership companies. In the long run it leads to an overall strengthening of industrial and societal gains.

Project purpose
|

The project is collecting and collating relevant information on the joint network expertise and equipment. Data is used to strengthen expertise and resources to better meet the needs of the region and support the development of new activities. The project aims to increase the potential user capacity’s knowledge on test and development opportunities in the northern border region in several industries (eg electronics, ICT, chemicals, metal). The project also aims at conceptual development of new services based on both data collection and results of collaboration.
