ANNE EGGEBERT
Anne Eggebert studied at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design and the Slade School of Art. Her practice critiques the construction and projection of national cultural identities and their related ideological fictions. The imagining of nature, the cultural articulation of landscape, and related systems of knowledge over territories and peoples have been the recent focus of her practice. Her work is mostly site-specific installations of video and photographic works. In collaboration with Polly Gould she has recently shown work at the British Library, Cambridge University Botanic Garden and the Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney, and also curated ‘nature and nation: vaster than empires’. |
