NAOMI DINES

Naomi Dines

Naomi Dines is an artist and lecturer, currently living in London, but brought up at sea and ashore on England’s North Sea coast. Her work often engages with specific places, exploring the human implications of different systems, environments and scenarios. Recently she has made work in, and for, a working hospital, a scientific research institution, and a domestic environment, all in various European cities. She uses many different methods, from installation and objects, to photographic and video images, to tackle issues of embodiment, experience, representation and understanding. Her subjects vary according to their context, but share a common concern with human perceptions of, and projections onto the world.
